    About the Organizer

    主办方:湖北大学材料科学与工程学院

    Organizer:School of Materials Science and Engineering, Hubei University

    湖北大学材料科学与工程学院成立于2006年,现设有高分子材料与工程、材料化学、材料科学与工程3个本科专业,材料科学学科在ESI世界学科排名为1.57‰(2025年5月),连续多年入选U.S.News世界最佳大学排名榜、软科中国最好学科排名。已建成国家“能源捕获和环境传感绿色技术”学科创新引智基地、功能材料绿色制备与应用教育部重点实验室等学科发展平台。近五年来共承担各级各类纵横向项目420余项,科研总经费9389万元,获省部级科技奖励9项;在Advanced Materials, Nature Communications等国际权威学术期刊发表SCI收录论文1200余篇;授权国家发明专利330余项。学院科研注重应用导向,先后建成顾地科技-塑料管道系统湖北省工程实验室、武汉海创电子科技股份有限公司-湖北大学校企合作平台等数十个校企研发平台。

    The School of Materials Science and Engineering at Hubei University was established in 2006. It currently offers three undergraduate programs: Polymer Materials and Engineering, Materials Chemistry, and Materials Science and Engineering. The Materials Science discipline has ranked within the top 1.57‰ (May 2025) in the ESI global subject rankings and has been continuously included in the U.S. News Best Global Universities rankings and Soft Science China's Top Disciplines rankings. The school has established key disciplinary development platforms such as the National "Green Technology for Energy Capture and Environmental Sensing" Discipline Innovation Intelligence Center and the Key Laboratory of Green Preparation and Application of Functional Materials under the Ministry of Education. In recent five years, it has undertaken over 420 research projects with a total scientific research funding of RMB 93.89 million, won 9 provincial and ministerial-level science and technology awards, published over 1,200 SCI-indexed papers in top international academic journals such as Advanced Materials, Nature Communications etc, obtained 330 authorized national invention patents. Focusing on application-oriented research, the school has built dozens of industry-academia R&D platforms.

    Information about the Summer School

    招生对象/Target Participants

    境外高校或科研机构在职教师/青年科研人员,硕/博士研究生,年龄45岁以下;

    研究方向为新能源材料、智能材料、环境探测、生物医用材料等领域;

    需提供学术经历或学术成果证明等材料。

    Full-time teaching staff/young researchers from overseas universities or scientific research institutions, master or PhD students, under the age of 45;

    ²Research interests include but are not limited to new energy materials, smart materials, environmental detecting, biomedical materials and other fields;

    ²Applicants are required to provide supporting materials such as academic experience or research achievements.

    目标/Objectives

    通过融合AI材料设计、文化创新与产业实践,帮助学员掌握跨学科技术并构建全球科研网络,在解决能源材料、生物材料、智能材料等基础科学问题中提升跨文化协作能力。

    By integrating AI-driven materials design, cultural innovation and industrial observation, this program offers participantsinterdisciplinary technical experience and global research networkwhile addressing fundamental scientific challenges in energy materials, biomaterials, and smart materials. It will enhance cross-cultural collaboration capability, team work, and inter-disciplinary innovation.

    暑期学校除邀请湖北大学材料科学与工程学院在材料基因组工程领域的资深专家授课外,还将邀请武汉大学、郑州大学等知名高校学者为学员介绍最新的材料学研究进展

    In addition to professors from the School of Materials Science and Engineering at Hubei University to deliver in the field ofmaterials gene engineering, the Summer School will also invite scholars from well - known universities such as Wuhan University and Zhengzhou University to introduce the latest research progress in materials science frontiers.

    费用/Fees

    学员不需要支付学费和食宿费,只需承担往返旅费、签证费、保险费以及可能产生的个人消费。

    Participants do not need to pay tuition fees and living expenses, but to bear the round - trip travel expenses, visa fees, insurance and any potential personal expenses.
